Introducing the new product from Rye Field Model: the 1/35 Sd.Kfz.167 Panzer IV Assault Gun Late Model w/ Engine.
The Panzer IV Assault Gun, officially designated Sd.Kfz.167, was developed in Germany during World War II.
Mounted on the chassis of the Panzer IV, with the fighting compartment of the Panzer III Assault Gun, the Panzer IV Assault Gun had a good weight balance compared to contemporaneous Panzer IV tank destroyers, despite being inferior in terms of armor protection. It excelled in mobility and maneuverability.
Production of this vehicle started in December 1943, and approximately 1,100 units were produced until April 1945.
