The highly popular Mr Aqueous surfacer series now includes a new Black Surfacer 1000! Like its counterparts, this surfacer minimizes solvent odors and offers enhanced safety while effectively filling surface imperfections and preparing surfaces for painting.
Black Surfacer 1000 is specially designed to leave a black-colored base, making it ideal as an undercoat for metallic colors or as a base for black base painting. This allows for both priming and applying a black base coat in one step, which is extremely convenient.
For the bottle type, you can apply it directly with a brush. If using an airbrush, dilute it at a 1:1 ratio with water or a dedicated Mr Aqueous hobby color thinner (recommended) for optimal results. This introduction of a Mr Aqueous surfacer provides hobbyists with a safer, more environmentally friendly option for their modeling needs.
