A model kit of the masterpiece large seaplane "Type 2 Large Flying Boat", based on the latest verification and research. The kit, in its design, has included support parts that double as partitions for the hull. Similarly, for the main wings, support parts akin to the 1/32 aircraft series have been provided. All these features ensure ease of assembly and sturdiness, marking this kit as the definitive version under Hasegawa's new standard specifications. The package artwork has been curated by Mr. Kato Tankuro. By incorporating separately sold etching parts for detailing, the model's intricacy is further elevated.

• Side Machine Guns: Options available for both extended and retracted positions.
• Armament: 250kg bombs x8, Type 91 torpedoes x2.
• Details: Features like the cockpit and other visible internal structures have been recreated.
• Wave Suppression Device (commonly known as "Katsuobushi" or "Dried Bonito Flakes"): This is a separate part, and its shape has been precisely replicated.
